Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

If you are looking for more happiness you are not alone. So many of us are lacking that happy vibe that makes life so enjoyable. Without happiness all aspects of our life can lack luster and seem out of balance.
We have all heard that true happiness must come from within. Brainwave entrainment allows us to tap directly into the subconscious mind in order to clear the negative blockages and create a happier and well balanced state of being.
When we are happy we tend to send out an extremely positive energy that attracts good things back to us. When we are not happy nothing works harmoniously and life can seem not only dull but extremely exhausting. Happiness is very important to having a healthy life.
How does brainwave entrainment help us to be happy?
Brainwave entrainment is nothing new. It has been researched and documented for well over 170 years. It works by manipulating your brain frequencies. It has been proven that super low brainwave frequencies can help a person to experience all sorts of altered states of consciousness.
When we experience a low frequency state such as a Theta or a Delta state, we are able to bypass the conscious mind and tap directly into the subconscious mind. The possibilities for positive change with brainwave entrainment are massive.
There are many benefits to using entrainment software such as binaural beats, monaural beats or isochronic tones. Some of the most well known benefits are:
Less stress and anxiety
More energy
Sharper focus
A relaxed body and mind
Clearer thinking
Clearing of negative blockages such as old thought forms
Ability to stop addictions and erase negative programming
The ability to reach all sorts of altered states
Normally to achieve all of these benefits it would take years of meditation practice and dedication. Now with brainwave entrainment you can reach these low frequency states easily and effectively as well as experience the benefits quickly.
Is happiness possible?
I know that at times happiness can seem like a far away place that is simply not possible to get to. If you understand that your mind and your thoughts are controlling your behavior and your state of mind then you can see that by working with your brainwaves in a natural and safe way, it is possible to create a clearer mind and a happier state of being.
Happiness is possible and brainwave entrainment is the fastest way I know of to get there. The great thing about using binaural beats is that you can tune into them any time you need to. Eventually over time you will retrain your brain and will likely find that you no longer need any outside stimulus to create the frequencies you desire. There is nothing to lose and a whole lot of happiness to gain!
Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.
This ‘frequency following’ response of brainwave entrainment can be seen in action with those prone to epilepsy. If a strobe flashes at their seizure frequency, the brain will ‘entrain’ to the flashing light, resulting in a seizure.
On the positive side, this same mechanism is commonly used to induce many brainwave states; such as a trance, enhanced focus, relaxation, meditation or sleep induction. The brainwave entrainment effectively pushes the entire brain into a certain state.
Brainwave entrainment works for almost everyone. It is a great way to lead your mind into states that you might usually have difficulty reaching, allowing you to experience what those states feel like.
THE HYPE
There is a lot of marketing hype around brainwave entrainment. It is sold with promises of increasing IQ, promoting weight loss, ‘mind-tripping’, enhancing creativity, concentration, inducing spiritual states and more.
While these claims are not entirely true, they are not altogether false either. In practice, the claims are based on an overly-simplistic view of how the brain and the brainwaves function.
THE RUB
People are very seldom deficient in a certain brainwave type in all areas of their brain. Usually the distribution is much spottier, with an excess in one area and a deficiency in another.
We are all different, especially when it comes to the distribution of our brainwaves. Boosting a certain brainwave state may be beneficial for one person, and emotionally uncomfortable for another. Without knowing each person’s starting position, entrainment can be rather ‘hit and miss’.
If brainwave entrainment leaves you with unwanted side-effects (see below) or discomfort, you’re probably encouraging a range of brainwaves that are already excessive in some area of your brain. The way around this is to get a brain map to see what your brain’s strengths and weaknesses are, and see what (if any) brainwaves could use some encouragement.
