Brainwave Entrainment Secrets to Rapid Hypnosis Success

Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

If you have experience with rapid hypnosis, you may find that hypnosis does not seem to work every time for you. Usually it can be results of unstable mental state, or confusion. Both will weaken the effect of rapid hypnosis. To enhance the effect of self hypnosis or hypnosis process, you can try brainwave entrainment program. After reading this article, you will realize the working principle of brainwave technology and how it can be applied to induction of hypnotic state (or trance state).

The Three Types of Brainwave

There are three types of brainwave found in our brain: alpha, beta and theta. Their levels vary throughout the day. In the daytime when we are wide awake, beta level is the dominant among the three. It is characterized by symptoms like alertness, emotional fluctuation, focused, heightened mental and physical performance in our body. Beta level is not desirable state for optimum brain performance, when the brain is cluttered with thoughts. Alpha level becomes dominant when we are in a fully alert, relaxed state. A high level of alpha is recorded in meditated or hypnotic state. Theta level can only be found in high levels during the dream or sleeping state.

How Brainwave Entrainment work

To make rapid hypnosis possible, we will recreate the pattern of brainwave recorded in the desired state as audible sound. The brainwave entrainment audio CDs capture such pattern and help your brain to synchronize with the same brainwave pattern. In this manner, our brain can be synchronized into the desired state for hypnosis induction. There are also binaural recording CDs dedicated to induction of brain state using the same principle.

THE HYPE
There is a lot of marketing hype around brainwave entrainment. It is sold with promises of increasing IQ, promoting weight loss, ‘mind-tripping’, enhancing creativity, concentration, inducing spiritual states and more.

While these claims are not entirely true, they are not altogether false either. In practice, the claims are based on an overly-simplistic view of how the brain and the brainwaves function.
THE RUB
People are very seldom deficient in a certain brainwave type in all areas of their brain. Usually the distribution is much spottier, with an excess in one area and a deficiency in another.

We are all different, especially when it comes to the distribution of our brainwaves. Boosting a certain brainwave state may be beneficial for one person, and emotionally uncomfortable for another. Without knowing each person’s starting position, entrainment can be rather ‘hit and miss’.

If brainwave entrainment leaves you with unwanted side-effects (see below) or discomfort, you’re probably encouraging a range of brainwaves that are already excessive in some area of your brain. The way around this is to get a brain map to see what your brain’s strengths and weaknesses are, and see what (if any) brainwaves could use some encouragement.

If you have ever tried to astral project then you know first hand just how difficult it can be. It requires months and months of persistent practice every single day and can take years to master if you don’t have enough dedication. Because of the fact that astral projection is so difficult, many people give up or decide it’s fake long before they have this marvelous experience.

In order to project you must master the hypnotic state. This is where your body is completely asleep but you mind is still awake. It’s the only way to separate. We usually fall asleep or slip into a dream well before we reach this state. Once we master reaching the hypnotic state we can easily master astral projection. This requires an immense amount of skill though without the aid of special tools such as binaural beats.

Astral projection binaural beats are not designed to separate us from our body like many think, but designed to entrain our brainwaves to the exact frequencies needed to reach and stay in the hypnotic state. Once we reach this state we can then start the separation process. This dramatically improves our success rate allowing us to learn how to astral project within a few days instead of a months.

Whether your reason for separating is personal and spiritual growth, proving life after death, talking to deceased relatives, understanding your purpose, a greater sense of overall well being, or for nothing more than pure excitement, binaural beats make the entire process much quicker and easier. They truly are a revolutionary breakthrough for human consciousness. Now anyone who wants can experience the wonders and benefits of astral projection thanks to binaural beats.

It can be scary your first time so you definitely need to be prepared for just how real it can feel. It is highly recommended that you master meditation and also practice various techniques such as lucid dreaming before you attempt to reach this hypnotic state. Fear can over take people and often times their imagination begins to run wild causing them to become fearful of projecting.

Once you become afraid, it’s a hundred times harder to project than if you never attempted it at all. So make sure you know what you’re getting into before attempting something like this. It helps when traveling in the astral world to imagine a white light of protecting surrounding you at all times.

If you have ever thought of reprogramming your mind, then you might want to consider the new and emerging technologies that are coming out of the market that deal with the fine art of changing your mind. Now when we are thinking about the connotations of this, we need to detract from the old adage that brain changing devices should be six feet tall and you need electrodes to your head. The art of subconscious reprogramming is something that is very subtle and can be accomplished in ways that you would have never believed.

One of the more interesting ways you can do this is through the use of the brainwave entrainment technology and it is based on the reverse engineered philosophy of the brainwaves that are already being produced in the mind – through the actions of the neurons and such. What happens is that science and medicine has put their heads together and come up with a technology that actually allows you to activate the super sense in the cortical and create a frequency following effect using the power of binaural beats. What they are, are actually engineered beats that have been audio sculpted into a form that can create a frequency disparity by introducing two different wave signatures on each side of the ear.

The disparity is much too small in wavelength size to actually allow for humans to hear or even perceive, but it is something that the cortical in the mind can easily pick up. Now, what you need to understand that there is a point to the whole thing, in which the brainwaves have been proven to actually activate the super states within the mind. You can think harder, learn faster, be more mentally agile and even tap into the physical functions of the body like healing. While this is a much general explanation of the way this works, there are so many applications you should be aware of when concerned about the whole idea of brainwaves and self improvement.

When you are looking for the different sorts of technology out there that are concerned with brainwave entrainment and using the power of the mind for your own benefit, then consider the various different CD’s that are made bespoke to this function. One of the more popular times of stimuli used for this function is of course the stimulation of sound, and when that happens, all you need to do is to find a quiet spot in your house and then listen to the CD for about 20 mins at a time. When you can do this on a regular basis, then you will notice the improvement that you need to see. Only with continued therapy will the subconscious mind be able to understand and then ingrain these new messages into the matrix of the mind, making them part of the normal everyday function of the body. Once you are able to do that, then you will have fully understood and experienced the power of subconscious reprogramming and how it can benefit you in the long run as well.

Brainwave Entrainment Achieving a Deep State of Relaxation Using Binaural Beats Meditation

Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.
what are binaural beats | deep meditation techniques
If you have ever struggled to meditate you will be pleased to learn about binaural beats meditation. A gifted man named Heinrich Wilhelm Dove discovered, in 1839, that if two separate frequencies were played through a headset that the individual perceived the sounds as a distinctive pulsating beat.

The human ear is able to perceive any sound above 1000 hertz and to achieve the binaural beat a slight variation of no more than 30hertz is required to maintain the desired effect. A greater differentiation will mean that the human ear does not perceive the binaural beat, but will hear two distinctly different tones.

This interesting phenomenon actually affects brain wave patterns and can induce various mental states when administered. A measurable difference in the reduction of stress and mental activity has been noted during this process. By altering the frequency it is easier to induce a relaxed mental state.

Mankind has used meditation for relaxation over many centuries in countries across the globe. In the Western culture we are conditioned from an early age to use our time productively, to always be active and to not waste time. This mind set can make it very difficult for some people to take time out to relax and meditate.

Many people genuinely struggle to not only make time to meditate, but find that it is very difficult to quiet the mind and to truly relax. The use of binaural beats is an extremely effective method for altering the brain waves to an alpha state to make the meditative state a more easily achievable one.

Ideally the brain needs to be in the alpha brainwave state to enjoy successful meditation. This can be easily achieved by using binaural beats to alter brainwave patterns. Using a set of headphones two slightly different tones are played independently of one another and the brain interprets this as a third, distinctive tone.

During our daily routines our brains operate in beta mode, but during meditation the brain shifts to alpha. In this state a person is far more likely to achieve a relaxed mental state. This can take years, but thanks to this new technology it can be achieved easily, where upon the person can move on to the heightened theta state.

In this heightened frequency it is far easier to achieve deep relaxation and a contemplative, peaceful state of mind. It is far easier to focus the mind on issues that require clarification or to simply enhance a relaxed state of being. Deep relaxation has been shown to have many important health benefits.

Brainwave Entrainment What is an EEG? A Simple Answer

Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

If you have ever read anything about the brain, you’ve probably heard the phrase EEG and wondered: what is an EEG? Many texts use complex terms that can confuse this question, but in fact it can be answered in a simple and straightforward way. By the time you reach the end of this article, you will know what an EEG is and understand a few of its most important uses in science and medicine.

What is an EEG?

EEG stands for electroencephalography. Although this word looks daunting, the process it describes is actually fairly simple. The electrical activity of the brain can be measured by sensors (or electrodes, to give them their proper name) which are placed on the scalp.

The “electro” of electroencephalography refers to this electrical activity, while “encephalo” is the Greek word for the brain. The suffix “graphy” indicates that the word refers to the study of this brain activity. Electroencephalography, or EEG, thus refers to the process of measuring the electrical activity of the brain.

What is an EEG read out actually measuring?

Brain activity consists of the electrical signals produced by the billions of neurons which make up the brain. EEG measures brainwave frequency – literally, how frequently the neurons of the brain are firing.

Because these electrical signals are fairly weak, placing electrodes on the scalp means that it is difficult to detect activity from deep within the brain. Most EEG readings are therefore concerned with signals produced by the cerebral cortex, which covers the top surface of the brain and is thus close to the top of the head. It is possible to take deeper brain readings, but electrodes must be implanted inside the skull for this to be possible.

What is an EEG frequency band?

Different patterns of brain activity are associated with different states of consciousness. For example, when you are relaxed, the neurons in your cortex fire less frequently than when you are alert. In turn, they fire less frequently still when you are asleep.

Because the frequency of brain activity decreases as alertness decreases, we can say that brainwaves are slower in states of relaxation, and slower still during sleep. There are many different brainwave frequencies (too many to go into in this article, in fact). Brainwave frequencies are normally grouped into bands, with each band having an associated mental state.

What is the use of an EEG?

EEG readings can be used in a number of different ways. Abnormalities in EEG readings can be used to diagnose mental health problems or brain damage, or other conditions such as epilepsy. Abnormalities might consist of unusually low or high activity or unusual patterns in the EEG reading (sudden bursts of activity, for example).

In addition to its medical functions, EEG monitoring can be used in scientific experiments in order to assess what changes in brain activity are associated with different tasks or behaviours.

Of course, there is a great deal more to be known about electroencephalography, but that is beyond the scope of this article. The information contained within this article consists of a brief introduction to the subject, intended to cover the basic question of what is an EEG.

If you have ever put on some peaceful music to calm your nerves, you are probably aware that music and sound can have an effect on how you feel. In fact, there are many ways that sound can influence our feelings and our health.

Music is certainly one of the most common ways to influence your feelings and health through sound. Listening to calming classical music, such as the Pachelbel canon can calm one’s nerves, while energizing dance music can help put you in a more active frame of mind. One recent study has shown that fast paced music can increase blood pressure, while slow paced music can lower blood pressure. Interestingly, adding random pauses to the music may lower blood pressure even more. The composer Stephen Halpern is particularly well know for his explorations of the relationship between sound and well-being.

Taking music therapy a step further, Dr. Alfred Tomatis found that by filtering music in very precise ways, the music could have an even more profound effect on people. Our noisy environments tend to damage our hearing over many years, and Dr. Tomatis found ways through his filtered music to stimulate the ears and the brain and often improve hearing.

Another way sound can influence you is by directly stimulating certain brainwave frequencies. Scientist have known for some time that brainwave frequencies of at least 13 cycles per second (known as the “beta” range) will have a stimulating effect, while frequencies of .5 to 4 cycles per second correspond with deep sleep. You can buy CD’s that directly and precisely increase just those frequencies for a desired effect. Light and sound machines are also available that incorporate flashing lights alone with sound pulses to stimulate specific frequencies of brainwaves.

Tuning forks are another area to discover how sound can affect your feelings and health. Low frequency tuning forks can have a grounding, relaxing effect, while high frequency forks are more energizing. On the low frequency end, there are forks available that match the earth’s Schumann Resonance frequency of 7.83 Hz. These are more grounding. In the mid ranges, there are tuning forks with the frequency of “Ohm”, 136.10 Hz. These can help harmonize the body’s energies. Other tuning forks have frequencies of at least 4000 Hz, and are more energizing.

Finally, a researcher, Sharry Edwards, has found that your voice, when analyzed in a special way, has unique signature to it, and that this signature can point to specific problems and deficiencies in a very precise way. Ms. Edwards, through a method she has introduced called Human BioAcoustics, has found that by listening to specially targeted sound patterns, these problems and deficiencies can be overcome.

Sound therapy is just one of the many approaches in the field of alternative medicine and holistic care. By exploring the world of sound and music, you may find new ways to feel better and be more effective in your life.

If you have ever been at the hands of people who have a blatant disregard for your property, and feel it within their rights to daub their favourite football clubs, who they are currently in love with, or just sheer profanities on your walls, then read on – it’s just possible this could solve all your problems…..

A house in a nearby town has suffered dreadfully over the years with graffiti problems on one of its walls which is windowless and right against the pavement opposite is a bit of a rough pub. An ideal “canvas” for drunken revellers let loose with a spray can. The owners religiously painted it at least once a month in a nice soft cream colour and it kept being mindlessly defaced. Very distressing and soul-destroying to say the very least.

Finally, during the last World Cup, it appears that someone had a brainwave – in a last ditch attempt to finally stop these vandals, they painted the whole of the side of the house as an England flag.

A novel move – and topical. I don’t even remember which world cup it was. However, the interesting point I am making here, is a tale of success to warm the heart! I am happy to report that there has been not one instance of graffiti ever since! This goes to prove there is at least a modicum of allegiance or respect for the flag, even if only due to supporting your country’s football team!

If you are suffering a similar problem, it may be worth trying this solution. It’s not everyone’s ideal decor, I know, but it still looks quite good; noticeably tall and proud and of course, is certainly an improvement on the constant foul scribblings that were previously there.

Or, we could just lock the layabouts up.

If you have been studying the Law of Attraction, you have likely learned that once you begin to live by this Universal Law, there’s really no going back. You may have also learned that it can be a tricky Law to master. In this article, you’ll learn why living by your conscious intent can be so difficult, and how you can use subconscious reprogramming and emotional release to turn this around to live the life you really want.

The Conscious Mind versus The Subconscious Mind

Why is living by conscious intent so often more difficult than living by default? Once you learn that you can design your own life by your own thoughts, shouldn’t it get easier? Why is it that once we start trying to live by the Law of Attraction, so many of us seem to attract even more hardships and chaos everywhere we turn?

The answer lies in your subconscious mind. Your conscious mind wants one thing; your subconscious mind wants something entirely different. A battle for survival literally begins inside your mind – and it’s your subconscious mind that almost always wins.

Your conscious mind makes up only about an estimated 5-10% of your entire mind. This is where your desires, hopes, dreams, intentions, plans, goals, and willpower exist. Your conscious mind is a beautiful and powerful force – but it’s no match for your subconscious mind, which makes up the remaining 90-95% of your mind. We always know what’s going on in our conscious minds. And even having control of our own conscious thoughts, we often find it difficult to manage them, so often giving in to negative and self-sabotaging thoughts, despite our best efforts. So just try to imagine what’s going on in your subconscious mind – the thought patterns and programs existing there – that you’re not even remotely aware of. No wonder people say the Law of Attraction doesn’t work, that it’s nothing more than a money-making scam.

The truth is, the Law of Attraction is very real. It always works, and it is, in fact, a Universal Law of our existence. What you may not know, however, is that it works in conjunction with the Law of Vibration. It always attracts the people, things, and circumstances into your life that are a vibrational match to the frequency you are transmitting. And even the most positive thinkers among us can fall victim to this because of what is happening in the subconscious mind. The bulk of the frequency you are transmitting at all times is coming from your massive subconscious mind.

Let me give you an example of how this works. Let’s say you want to attract a large sum of money, so you do all the positive thinking exercises, invest in various self-help programs, write out your check to the Bank of the Universe with the sum of money you want to attract, and even use visualization and affirmation techniques to ensure that this sum of money becomes yours. You know without a doubt that your conscious mind is vibrating at a very high frequency. But what you probably aren’t aware of is that the larger part of your mind – the subconscious – is running programs that are in direct conflict with having this large sum of money. How so?

Perhaps your great-great-grandfather believed that money is the root of all evil, along with a low-frequency trapped emotion of hatred of rich people in his liver meridian. You don’t consciously have this belief – but guess what? This belief, as well as this trapped emotion, become part of your genetic DNA passed on by that past generation, and now it’s part of your subconscious programming, and you don’t even know it.

So what happens? Your subconscious mind absolutely will not allow you to be a rich person or have the very thing that it believes is evil. And that means that you don’t attract any large sum of money, and may even wind up in debt over everything you tried to ensure you would attract it, leaving you frustrated, confused, and miserable. And this is just one example of many different programs you could be running in your subconscious mind pertaining to having money. There are, in fact, many, many more.

So what can you do about this? How can you align your subconscious beliefs with your conscious intent, and attract the people, things, and circumstances into your life that you desire?

Subconscious Reprogramming and Emotional Release

Well now that the bad news is over, how about some good news? You can use subconscious reprogramming and emotional release to change your life – and it’s relatively fast and easy to do. There are various ways of doing this. Let’s discuss a few.

ThetaHealing
ThetaHealing is an energy healing technique which was created by Vianna Stibal, who healed herself of cancer after having discovered the power of the Theta brainwave for healing. She soon learned that ThetaHealing works for all aspects of life, beyond physical health. By using Applied Kinesiology (self-muscle testing/energy testing), we are able to determine what subconscious programs and beliefs we are holding on to, that we are not consciously aware of. Once learning what these programs are, we access the Theta brainwave to release, remove, and resolve the programs we carry with us from the womb, inherited from parents and past generations, brought with us from other places and times, and even as far as the soul level, that keep us from having what we want in life, and then reprogram with new beliefs that match our conscious intent. This process is done in real-time, on the quantum level, and adheres to the principal Law of the Universe: nothing in life can happen without being observed. ThetaHealing is a process that commands the subconscious to reprogram, and then the practitioner becomes the “witness,” or the observer. The transformations that occur as a result of ThetaHealing can be seen in an instant, depending on how many layers of emotions and subconscious programs there are to work through. Sometimes the process takes a little longer, but there are always immediate shifts. I’ve personally witnessed seeming miracles from using ThetaHealing, not only in my own life, but also my clients.

The Emotion Code
Discovered and developed by Dr. Brad Nelson, The Emotion Code is a very profound method of emotional release. Throughout the course of our lifetimes, we experience various powerful emotions that are not fully released at the time when they are experienced, but rather, they get lodged, or trapped, in our energetic meridian systems. The emotions we carry can also be passed on genetically, for many generations back. Emotions are also brought from other times and places, and can even be so deep as to be a part of our souls. Dr. Nelson has put together a chart of emotions to work from, and by using Applied Kinesiology, we can test to find out which trapped emotion is behind a certain challenge, where in the body’s energetic meridian system it is stuck, at what age it first appeared, or if it was passed on genetically or historically, and then release it. Similar to ThetaHealing, the Emotion Code also works for any aspect of your life that you want to change, whether it’s your health, your relationships, your finances, or any other challenge you are facing.

TFT
I have had great success with TFT for releasing trapped emotions and subconscious programs. TFT, also known as Thought Field Therapy, was created and founded by Dr. Roger J. Callahan, PhD, more than 30 years ago. All other meridian tapping techniques were created based on Dr. Callahan’s work with TFT. Thought Field Therapy utilizes meridian point tapping algorithms specifically tailored to target the layers of emotions that are trapped in our energetic meridian system, and it is very a very effective way to release them very quickly. With TFT you can experience real relief in a matter of moments.

EFT
EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique, was founded by Gary Craig, based on Dr. Roger Callahan’s work with TFT. EFT is like TFT in that it utilizes meridian tapping to release trapped emotions from the energetic meridian system, but EFT also combines the tapping with NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and condenses the tapping to more of a general sequence that you can use on anything. Using EFT every day is another excellent way to release trapped emotions and start to change your life quickly.

Acupuncture
Traditional Chinese Medicine has, for thousands of years, used acupuncture to release trapped emotions from the body’s energetic meridian system. Acupuncture is tried and true when it comes to emotional release, with very real and documented results.

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)
NLP was founded and created by linguist John Grinder and Richard Bandler, based on the connection between our neurological processes, language, and patterns of behavior. It’s a way of learning to speak in such a way as to reprogram our thought patterns. When we become very conscious of the words we use when speaking, we begin to change also the way we think. For example, if you say “I’m sick and tired of never having enough money,” your brain is then wired to believe: 1. I’m sick. 2. I’m tired. 3. I never have any money. And this becomes a thought form, which is then accepted by the subconscious mind as truth, and then turned into a subconscious program, which then becomes our reality. We will literally get sick and tired and never have enough money. Amazing how our brains work, isn’t it? When we become consciously aware of what we are thinking and saying, we empower ourselves to change it. NLP is an excellent tool for subconscious reprogramming, as it builds new neural pathways and new subconscious beliefs every time we become conscious of all we think and say and do.

Hypnosis
Hypnosis is also a very powerful and effective method to use for subconscious reprogramming, as the Alpha and Theta brainwaves are utilized, and hypnotic commands are then sent directly to the subconscious mind. It is the Theta brainwave, in particular, that allows us access to the subconscious mind, which will then be listening for what we tell it. Always choose your words and intent wisely, and always state your intent in the positive, as the subconscious doesn’t understand words like “can’t,” “won’t,” “don’t,” and “not.” If it did, we wouldn’t keep attracting what we “don’t” want.

Meditation
When you meditate, you are going deeper within yourself. The deeper within yourself you go, the more access you have to your subconscious mind, which is waiting there for your command. When you close your eyes and meditate, you instantly access the Alpha brainwave state, which puts you at the doorway to your subconscious mind. As you go deeper in your meditation, and enter the Theta brainwave, you have more control over what commands your subconscious mind will accept. You can use meditation as a way to become comfortable as you are consciously aware, inside your subconscious mind. The very act of clearing your mind during meditation connects you with your inner self and Universal Intelligence, and is a form of “letting go” of your need to be focused on whatever challenges you may be facing. Once this connection is firmly established, in the Theta brainwave, you can reprogram your subconscious beliefs during meditation.

There are so many wonderful methods for us to use for releasing and reprogram subconscious beliefs and emotions. It’s an amazing time we live in now, to have access to so much knowledge, and so many people to help us to change our lives. Whatever method you are drawn to, whichever one resonates with you, it’s important to understand the importance of the subconscious mind when it comes to the desire to change our lives and make the Law of Attraction work for us, instead of against us. Remember, we are always attracting the people and circumstances in our lives that are a perfect match for what is going on in the subconscious mind. By releasing the subconscious programs and emotions that do not serve you, you open up the space in your life for what does. Whatever you can do to harness the power of your subconscious, and align it with your conscious will and intent, is going to make you a very powerful force, the master of your own life.

Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

This ‘frequency following’ response of brainwave entrainment can be seen in action with those prone to epilepsy. If a strobe flashes at their seizure frequency, the brain will ‘entrain’ to the flashing light, resulting in a seizure.

On the positive side, this same mechanism is commonly used to induce many brainwave states; such as a trance, enhanced focus, relaxation, meditation or sleep induction. The brainwave entrainment effectively pushes the entire brain into a certain state.

Brainwave entrainment works for almost everyone. It is a great way to lead your mind into states that you might usually have difficulty reaching, allowing you to experience what those states feel like.

If you have been reading about self improvement for any length of time, you have heard mention made of the power of visualization. If you have not discovered its power to bring about significant change in your life, you should consider giving it a try.

Your mind, like any other muscle in your body, needs to be exercised regularly in order to remain strong. Your brain can be exercised through intellectual pursuits, such as reading, painting, writing, and such. But your mind is also capable of affecting change outside of the human body as well. In order for it to be able to do so, though, it must be exercised.

1. The Spoon Benders
You have probably seen, at some time in your life, those people on television who look intently at a spoon, and have it wither in their hands. You may or may not believe in the power to create such a change with the mere mind, but scientists are discovering it is possible. It takes intense focus, though.

Researchers in quantum physics have been able to measure human brainwaves outside of the human body. I know – the science takes away some of the mystique – but it does explain why these things actually work. The more focused the mind, the stronger the brainwaves. They are recorded as measureable energy, and can range quite far from the body when the mind is well trained.

If you want to try flexing your mental muscle, do one of these exercises:

o Dangle a piece of string loosely between your fingers and sit perfectly still. Once the string has stopped bouncing, keep your muscles perfectly still, and with your mind imagine you are spinning the string. Focus intently on the string while you are visualizing. With practice, you will find that the string may begin to move – perhaps just a little, but it will be there.

o Another exercise to build mental focus is to pour some water into a pan and place a needle in the water. It should float on top. Hold your hand open, palm down, over the needle. Imagine the needle moving through the water as you move your hand. See if you can generate enough mental focus to push the needle along to follow your moving hand. You may feel a tickle in the middle of your palm, and you may have to practice this many times before you see results.

2. Now Focus on Your Life

Once you have begun building some mental muscle, try visualizing various aspects of your life. Imagine changes you want to experience, and take time during your day to sit quietly and visualize yourself doing those things. Whether you want to write a book, become a successful investor, play music, or get a promotion at work – see yourself in that position, doing the work, and becoming wildly successful at it. The power of your mind is amazing, and it can bring about great change if you let it.

You may have heard about sports psychologists using this technique with athletes. It has been used for many years to help professional or Olympic athletes excel, and has been implemented with many corporate executives and successful artists.

3. Create an Atmosphere for Successful Visualization

Don’t worry – you are not going to need to cast a circle or anything like that. Create a peaceful space where you will not be interrupted. Turn off the telephone, and the cell phone, because they will break your concentration if they ring. Turn off the television, the radio, and anything else that makes noise in your house. Try to dim the room. It does not need to be pitch dark, but subdue the light.

Once you are ready, sit quietly, do some deep breathing, and close your eyes. Initially, just focus on blackness. Practice quieting the mind. Once your mind is quiet, choose an object, focus on it intently, then close your eyes and visualize the object. Try to see every minute detail. Once you can visualize objects with absolute clarity, move on by putting yourself into the visualization. Gradually work up to seeing yourself involved in a variety of activities – playing sports, working, exercising. See yourself as you want to be, not as you are right now. Visualize your goals, and your mind will guide you down the path to them.

If you have been looking for ways to treat your adult ADHD without taking medication, then you have came to the right place. Inside this article I will share with a couple of ways that I know of, that you can start using today to treat your ADHD symptoms. So I strongly suggest that you read this entire article right away as it contain valuable information that you can start to use right now.

First let’s talk a little about prescription medications that doctors normally prescribe adults who are diagnosed with ADHD.

The 4 most common medications that are used are:

1. Adderall

2. Focalin

3. Vyvanse

4. Concerta

According to the doctors these drugs are the best treatments that are available to adults suffering from ADHD. This is not always the case. Not everyone responds well to taking medications. There are also come side effects that are associated with taking the above medications. Some people experience the following symptoms: insomnia, upset stomach, and irritability.

Now we are going to move on to the other ways of treating ADHD besides taking prescriptions medications.

The first thing we are going to talk about is called brainwave entrainment.

Brainwave Entrainment Audio

This is a very subtle approach to dealing with ADHD symptoms. It is a series of sounds or should I say binary beats that tune into certain areas of brain causing them to relax and almost putting you into a trance like state. It sounds like something out of a Science Fiction novel but is real. It is really simple and also really effective.

The next form of treatment we are going to talk about is natural dietary supplements.

Natural Dietary Supplements

Natural dietary supplements such as Ginseng and Gingko Biloba have been know to help adults suffering with ADHD. I have read that in blind study groups that it has been proven to help patients focus better and get threw a day much more easily.

Last but not least we are going to talk about simple diet changes.

Diet Changes

By simply changing how and what you eat can drastically reduce and improve your symptoms. By reducing the amount of sugars and salts that you intake combined with exercise has been proven to help people suffering with ADHD.

So my recommendation to you is that if you have been suffering with ADHD, and do not want to start taking prescription medications try any of the above. As a matter a fact try all 3, it can only help you.

One more bad thing about starting prescription medication is that once you usually start, its a good chance that you are going to have to take them for the rest of your life. So instead of just accepting the medications right from the beginning, try out some other alternatives before you commit to something for life.
