Brainwave Entrainment How Binaural Beats Will Now Powerfully Shift Your Mindset When Meditating

Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

Listening to binaural beats in the course of meditation is without question a fantastic way to retrain the psyche. These binaural sounds are a style of brainwave entrainment, resulting in your mentality functioning under a range of frequencies which happen to be incredibly defined throughout this process. These kinds of wavelengths impact the way in which your brain performs in a very amazing way. Hearing these tones often will definitely change your own personal thoughts which directly effect your existence.

While a person practices this unique dynamic type of meditation, a variety of brainwaves can actually be changed from being active to lazy and or vice versa. As an example, if you suffer from anxiousness and fear on a constant basis, you actually can meditate to a binaural beat that is designed to alter the part of your brain that causes the individual to become nervous to be non-active. These benefits, however, are going to only be as a result of persistent practice, though you will definitely will discover that the change begins to occur quite rapidly. The more you perform meditation using this method, the weaker the fear and anxiety will become. Basically, you are retraining your mind, and that is why this is named brainwave entrainment.

Plenty of folks decide to listen to binaural beats for a rather long period of time, while others meditate on a daily basis for a brief 20 minutes. To get the best results, no less than one half hour every single day is advised. It is important to note that not all beats are exact. The sound of the tones is dependent upon the particular beat that you are playing. A number of the beats are played combined with music and others are not. As you listen to to the audio, your brainwaves will slowly but surely set themselves to function at the same exact degree as the sound you are listening to. Your thought process is, therefore, in sync with the actual tones that you happen to be experiencing as an alternative to being preoccupied by roaming thoughts. That is when your consciousness is shifting. Each individual sound combination will focus on a distinctive form of meditation. Every one beat has a unique purpose, and you can now try each one for free of charge.

Binaural beat brainwave entrainment should undoubtedly be used to discover the brains maximum potential without using drugs or harmful chemicals. This s a highly effective form of meditation which has improved the existence of lots of people and can be used effortlessly with exceptional results. Binaural beats are widely used for a large variety of reasons. There are just too many to name in this article, but some popular reasons are drug addiction, losing weight, panic disorder, female and male sex drive enhancement and getting pregnant..

This ‘frequency following’ response of brainwave entrainment can be seen in action with those prone to epilepsy. If a strobe flashes at their seizure frequency, the brain will ‘entrain’ to the flashing light, resulting in a seizure.

On the positive side, this same mechanism is commonly used to induce many brainwave states; such as a trance, enhanced focus, relaxation, meditation or sleep induction. The brainwave entrainment effectively pushes the entire brain into a certain state.

Brainwave entrainment works for almost everyone. It is a great way to lead your mind into states that you might usually have difficulty reaching, allowing you to experience what those states feel like.

THE HYPE
There is a lot of marketing hype around brainwave entrainment. It is sold with promises of increasing IQ, promoting weight loss, ‘mind-tripping’, enhancing creativity, concentration, inducing spiritual states and more.

While these claims are not entirely true, they are not altogether false either. In practice, the claims are based on an overly-simplistic view of how the brain and the brainwaves function.
THE RUB
People are very seldom deficient in a certain brainwave type in all areas of their brain. Usually the distribution is much spottier, with an excess in one area and a deficiency in another.

We are all different, especially when it comes to the distribution of our brainwaves. Boosting a certain brainwave state may be beneficial for one person, and emotionally uncomfortable for another. Without knowing each person’s starting position, entrainment can be rather ‘hit and miss’.

If brainwave entrainment leaves you with unwanted side-effects (see below) or discomfort, you’re probably encouraging a range of brainwaves that are already excessive in some area of your brain. The way around this is to get a brain map to see what your brain’s strengths and weaknesses are, and see what (if any) brainwaves could use some encouragement.

Listening to Binaural Beats causes Brainwave Synchronization/Entrainment and can give you inner peace, relaxation, a good nights sleep or energy. People even use it for healing their body and mind!

In order to get the most out of listening to these sounds, you should practice listening “correctly”.

I’ve been studying the science of Brainwave Entrainment for many years and I have practiced many techniques. As it turns out, it is very simple to do. Most people should be able to master the correct listening techniques within the first few sessions.

The requirements are:

You need some Binaural Beats CD’s or mp3’s to listen to.A computer, stereo or mp3 player to play the mp3’s or CD’s.Some decent headphones. Your ears must listen to each channel independently of the other in order for the audio tones to be effective.Be sure your headphones have a long enough cord to reach the place you’ll be listening. You can also use cordless headphones if you need to be far away from the audio source. 15 minutes to an hour to listen, depending on your level and time available to spend listening.
Recommended:Try to find a time of day when you won’t be bothered or when you know you’ll have a certain amount of time to listen.Get into a comfortable position. A position that you’ll be able to rest comfortably in for the entire session.Laying down or sitting are both good positions to listen.Turn off your phone, lights and anything else that might distract you from clearing your mind.Clear straighten up the area you’ll be listening in of any mess or distractions.Dress comfortably so you won’t be too hot or too cold while listening.

Brainwave Entrainment Cure My Insomnia! A Natural Cure – Insomnia is Helpless Against

Listen, if you’re after a cure for insomnia, or better yet, a 100% natural cure insomnia is completely defenseless against, then you have to turn your back on sleeping pills and idiotic home remedies. Such methods may help to provide some semblance of insomnia relief, but they are in no way, shape, or form a cure for serious lack of sleep problems. You know, the kind of sleep problems where the person is constantly asking “What Can I Use to Cure My Insomnia?”

The one & only natural cure insomnia is afraid of happens to be brainwave entertainment. Unlike like other lack of sleep treatments — herbal teas, herbal candles, warm baths, eating a bedtime snack, etc. — this isn’t something your body can simply ignore. Why not? Because brainwave entertainment doesn’t affect the body like all those other nonsense treatments, it affects the mind!

Why is affecting the brain important? Because the brain (also known as the mind) is more often than not the root cause of sleeplessness. Fix the brain’s problem and you fix your inability to get to sleep.

What exactly is the brain’s problem, you ask? Simple, it’s just far too overactive. Due to a plethora of possible reasons, your brain’s electrical pulses are operating at a normal, or above normal, rate as you’re trying to sleep. Contrary to what some may think, this is not a good thing — because in order to get to sleep fast, your brain needs to “slow down” and be significantly less active than it is during the day. This, my sleep deprived friend, is where brainwave entertainment comes in handy.

As soon as you put in a brainwave entertainment CD and press play, it begins working it’s magic. The sounds — a collection of gentle tones, pulses, and rhythmic beats — penetrate the mind and start guiding the brain’s electrical pulses onto a more natural beat; one that will actually aid in sleep. Once started, it’s only a matter of minutes before the brain is slowed to an acceptable pace, thereby enabling you to fall asleep quickly.

Brainwave entertainment (aka sleeptracks) is the one natural cure insomnia is 100% POWERLESS against. It’s the only remedy that can’t be countered or diminished due to stress or even anxiety. Having said all that, try this natural insomnia cure for yourself and never again be forced to ask “What Can I Use to Cure My Insomnia!”

Brainwave Entrainment 3 Simple Meditation Techniques Anyone Can Use

Like anything new, we tend to complicate things and starting meditation is no exception. There’s all the background information absorb and the worry of whether or not we’re meditating correctly. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Meditation can be simple – here are 3 simple meditation techniques that you can start right away.

Breathing Meditation

At its simplest, this lets you focus on your breathing. Begin by noticing the feeling of the air as it travels through your nostrils, down your wind pipe and begins to fill your lungs with fresh, life giving, air. Maybe hold your breath for a short time – if it’s comfortable to do that – and then exhale. Again, notice the feeling of the air as it leaves your lungs and then your body. Maybe visualize all the impurities and toxins in your body leaving at the same time as the exhaled air. There are a number of pre-recorded tracks available that will help you take your breathing meditation techniques to a higher level but when you’re starting out, just follow the instructions I’ve just given and you’ll be well on your way to using breathing meditation to help you to relax.

Walking Meditation

This is another simple meditation. Whereas the breathing meditation can be performed with your eyes open or closed, you will need your eyes open for a walking meditation! It doesn’t matter where you choose to walk – it could be a busy city street or a tranquil park or area of countryside. What matters is that you concentrate on the experience. Begin by noticing the feeling of walking. Because we’ve walked for years, chances are that we no longer pay attention to the feelings and sensations that we experience whilst we walk. Take time out to notice the effects of walking on different parts of your body. Can you notice the feeling of the ground below your feet? Maybe it’s hard and unforgiving (like a pavement) or maybe there’s some “give” in the ground (walking on the grass in the park). The more you pay attention to these sensations, the more you’ll find that you notice. Also take some time to notice other things around you as you walk. All the scenery that normally bypasses you because it’s just “there”. Begin to notice the different things that you are passing – the buildings, the trees, the sounds and colors. Again, the more attention you pay to these the more you’ll notice. Likely including things that are blindingly obvious but that you’ve never seen over the months or years you’ve been following the same route.

Binaural Beats Meditation

This one is the modern way of meditating, specially designed for people who “don’t have the time” to learn other meditation techniques. Modern technology takes your brainwaves down to a deep meditative state – one that would otherwise take years of practice – and lets you reach meditative levels that would normally be unachievable for a mere Westerner. Specially recorded binaural beats meditation tracks are designed to allow you to reach deep levels of meditation simply by listening to a pre-recorded MP3 file. For people like me who don’t want to spare the time to learn complicated meditation methods, this is ideal.

Like anything new, if you’re just starting to meditate it can seem a bit daunting at first. There are all sorts of different meditation techniques available. Which one is the best to start with? Will it be easy for a beginner yet still suitable as you gain more experience with meditating? So many questions! Here are some simple meditation tips and techniques to help you to solve the puzzle for yourself.

Set aside some time

Whilst this may sound obvious, it’s absolutely essential to schedule in some meditation time into your life.

If you need formal help with doing this then it may be best to enrol in a local class, then at least you’ve spent some money which should – in turn – encourage you to attend the classes.

If you’ve got a bit more discipline then a home study course will likely work fine for you.

You’ll probably already know the best way to set aside time in your life so make sure you apply it to the meditation side of things as well.

Experiment

Meditating isn’t a “one size fits all” habit.

Some people like the formality of things such as focussing on a candle flame or chanting a mantra out loud over and over again. Other people prefer to use a breathing meditation, which can be one of the easiest techniques to start with. There are also plenty of guided meditations available to download.

Or you may prefer to take your conscious mind out of the equation and use a binaural beats meditation to shift your brainwave patterns to the correct level with near enough no effort on your part.

So don’t be afraid to use trial and error to get the best meditation experience for you.

Get a quiet place

This is just as important as setting aside the time for your session.

A quiet place means somewhere you won’t be disturbed (although if you’re doing a walking meditation this isn’t a requirement).

A “do not disturb” sign on your door could help if your friends and family are disruptive.

Turning off your cell phone is also useful as phones have that annoying habit of ringing just at the wrong moment, as though they have a built-in monitor just for that purpose.

Don’t expect instant change

We’re usually the last people to notice change in ourselves. And that applies to the changes that will be brought about by regular meditation just as much as any other area of our lives.

Don’t expect to have one or two meditation sessions and be instantly transformed.

Apart from the worrying nature of that idea, it just isn’t going to happen.

This is a process for the medium to long term. Not necessarily the lifetime of practice that a Zen monk commits to but definitely not a two week “just before the vacation” diet either.

The chances are that people you only meet occasionally will notice the difference quicker than you do. Because small, subtle, changes aren’t the easiest things to spot.

Brainwave Entrainment Lifeflow Meditation Is the Simpler Way to Accomplish Deep Meditation

Lifeflow meditation makes you reach a deeper state of meditation faster than any other techniques. The causes are physiological; when you attain the brainwaves states of lifeflow, your brain commands your body to produce hormones and chemicals that are narrowly interrelated to your feelings of well-being. The main value of this form of meditation is that it regroups numerous brainwaves for which every one of them the body responds in a different way. Merging them all together allows the whole brain to be stimulated and leaves amplified results.

Lifeflow meditation puts you into exceptionally profound and advantageous brainwave states easier than any other meditation method. These states enhance your feelings of happiness and well-being, as well as your learning capacities and it diminishes your stress levels. It is part of the brainwave meditation family. The standard brainwave meditations use a sole type of wave; either the binaural, monaural, or isochronic tones. The asset of lifeflow meditation is that it uses all three of them in a meticulous mix.

The monaural and isochronic tones both have the advantage of being able to be listened to in the open air, with no a headset. Doing so, they have the faculty to influence the entire body with their waves in comparison with the binaural beats that have to be listened to with headphones for them to accomplish brain synchronization.

The lifeflow meditation entrainment follow a 10 step procedure divided in three components. The tracks from 10 to 8 are numerous levels of alpha brain waves, from 7 to 4 comes the theta brain waves, and the last three steps are made of various levels of delta brain waves. The entrainment is intended to begin with the number 10 and progressively go down the ladder to the lowest delta frequency. Even though there is nothing such as a firm rule of when to change level, the recommended timeline is to listen to a track for anywhere between 30 and 60 days before moving onto the next level. But in the end, it’s up to you to decide when you are prepared to move on. If you feel like you need one more month with this level, do it. On the other hand, if you are a more experienced meditator, maybe you will want to move down the steps a little bit quicker. The guideline you should use to know when it’s time to switch to the next step is to do it when you can really feel concrete changes in your everyday life.

The last remarkable thing I would like to bring up regarding lifeflow meditation is that it can be a lifelong exercise. After you are done meditating through all the levels, you can come back to any of them, use them in any sequence, and persist to progress even more. To facilitate your lifeflow meditation experience, I recommend you to visit the http://www.meditate-for-beginners.com from Steven Adams.

Brainwave Entrainment How You Can Take Control of Your Mind and Your Life and of the Programs Running it

Life, like in the Matrix movies, is a really complex operating software with lots of programs, creating the illusion of reality (when the “real world” is, unlike in the movie, just consciousness and energy). Your habits and experiences that repeat themselves are like PC programs that load automatically. Where do these programs come from? From our environment, our experiences and from and other people.

Most of these programs are not part of the original software we were born with, but were created because of downloads of information from our environment throughout all our lives. We love to download off iTunes and similar: the latest tv show episode, new music, movies, etc.

We are downloading and uploading all the time when online: to access this page your computer had to send (upload) the request for the page, and then receive (download) the page as data stream, and voila you’re reading this article. We are downloading and uploading all the time in life as well.

Whenever somebody is sharing their views, or any information with you, they’re uploading new information in your database, in your mind, which can later become integrated in an existing program, or become a new program and way of being altogether.

New information however, especially if you are not a child anymore, doesn’t become part of you automatically: it’s up to your “firewalls, antiviruses and spam filters”, (your perception of what you hear or see, which in turn is shaped by your beliefs), often running in the background, without your conscious awareness, whether to accept the information or refuse it.

When you’re watching, reading or experiencing something new you’re downloading new information. When you’re repeating the same patterns, habits and doing things you’ve been doing for a long time you’re using the same programs derived by old downloads of information, which are often obsolete and not updated or upgraded for a long time, and you’re not learning anything new.

Upgrades are more and more frequent in computer software, why shouldn’t the same thing be true for our habits and behaviours, especially if they are not useful anymore?

If you are upset about something and you automatically reach for a cigarette, for alcohol or for a bag of chips, you’re going on autopilot, acting from programs derived from downloads of information (beliefs, feelings, events) that probably come from your childhood. Maybe you’ve seen one of your parents act this way when they were upset, or maybe you’ve associated food or alcohol with relaxation, or both.

Right now while you’re reading this you’re most likely in what is called a Beta state (for an explanation of brainwaves please go here) which means that you can reason, ponder and choose what to accept from this article and what to disregard.

When you were little however, you were in a Theta state most of the time; this is like browsing the Internet and downloading with very little or no protection, without a spam filter, a firewall or an antivirus. When you were a child, once the info (the belief about life the world etc) was downloaded, it becomes part of your operating system without your conscious knowledge or consent, regardless of the content.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could pull up task manager to see what is running in your mind? And wouldn’t it be nice to click a button and end a useless or damaging process? You can start your own task manager by monitoring what thoughts are going on in your head, by looking at your life and asking what are your recurring patterns, and what you would like to change.

From there you can start finding the beliefs that are running in the background. If you find yourself over and over again in abusive relationships one of the beliefs you may have is that “men are bastards” or “I am unworthy”. If you find yourself in jobs you don’t like doing over and over again you could be running the programs “work is supposed to be unpleasant” or “others can do fun jobs but not me”.

Whatever beliefs you have, they are downloads and part of your programming code, and experiences and habits that validate them will show up in your matrix/life. A habit can have 15 beliefs or hundreds of beliefs making it up, and some traumas too.

Hundreds? This may seem one too many to tackle, but just as clicking the right button or deleting or writing one specific line in a program may delete the whole program, often you just need to find one or a handful of beliefs holding the others up and clear the traumas and misperceptions that caused them in the first place.

How do you find them? More importantly, once you find the key beliefs and traumas, how do you delete and clear them? Most of us have made the common experience of trying to change our habits and behaviours by exercising sheer will and of failing 99% of the time. It just doesn’t work that way.

It’s like telling a computer without a way to understand and execute vocal commands to delete a program and then getting angry and frustrated because it doesn’t. If you want to close it you have to look for it and close it manually, or at least you have to install a voice recognition program. There are a lot of great modalities out there to do that nowadays. I use Theta Healing, an easy and amazing modality I also teach, for the fast and lasting results it delivers, light years ahead of most modalities I have encountered.

With it you can quickly find the beliefs and traumas at the bottom of your issues, be they physical, emotional, mental or spiritual, thanks to an inquiring process called “digging”. Once beliefs and traumas are found you can easily delete and clear them and replace them with ones that help you and upgrade your software. In Theta Healing there are also, literally, downloads of feelings.

Let’s say that you’ve been the happiest in your life while you were at a cinema, as a child eating popcorns. Your mind might have associated popcorns with happiness.

Also, you might have thought that the feelings you experienced then were the definition for happiness, your reference point for it and that you can’t ever be happier in your life than you were on that occasion or that you can never experience happiness differently.

Who has the purest definition, perspective and understanding of happiness you can imagine? If you said God you’re right! Most people, including a lot of scientists, believe in God or a “Force” that created the Universe, whether they call it God, Goddess, Source, Creator, Absolute, Allah, Shiva, Krishna, Oneness, or by any other name.

More and more people are realizing, finally, that all Gods are one, whatever the religion or spirituality. The difference is one of affinity for one stream or the other, because all of them lead to the same Source. Therefore, from now on when I use the word God, I also intend to include all of His/Her other names

Also, more and more people are also realizing that God is us and we are God, without separation. Before reading forward, please check within you what happiness feels like for you, what’s your definition, perspective and understanding for you.

Also, what do you imagine is happiness for God? What do you think it feels like for God, and what about His/Her definition of happiness?

Do the same thing for Unconditional Love too. Done? Read forward.

Surely, as hinted before, God, or the part of you that remembers it is One with God, has a higher and more pure definition, understanding and perspective of happiness than you do. Do you want to have that, know what that feels like, and that God’s perspective, understanding and definition be the same as yours? Close your eyes and say Yes out loud now if you do, because in Theta Healing feelings can be download it from God, and they can be embedded in files, songs, documents, ready to be downloaded over and over again when somebody consciously agrees to having them.

Would you like to have God’s perspective, understanding and definition of unconditional love now, without having to earn it, learn it or prove it, and that God’s perspective, understanding and definition is the same as yours? Would you like to know what unconditional love feels like, that you’re worthy and deserving of it, that it’s safe to have it, that you have it now?

If you would like to please close your eyes and say Yes out loud, now, and savor the feelings coming in. How did the downloads feel like? Do you feel different than before? If not, would you like to know what it feels like to recognize when something has changed and how to recognize that something has changed? If you want to close your eyes and say Yes out loud now, then check your feelings again. How does happiness feel like now? And Unconditional Love?

In Theta Healing feelings that don’t serve you may be taken away, as well. For instance you may have run a program of depression all your life, and you don’t know or don’t remember what living without that software feels like. A lot other processes comprise Theta Healing, to make it a well rounded modality.
Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

Life, as we live it today, is not conducive to “siestas” or the juvenile afternoon nap-unfortunately.

However, there are some companies out there right now that expect their employees to take a nap if they need it and actually provide rooms for them to do it in.

When we don’t get enough sleep, our body doesn’t get a chance to rejuvenate and heal itself.

High levels of our natural stress hormone, cortisol, are released when we are over-stressed, washing over every inch of our body and mind, damaging everything it touches. Going to sleep, or staying asleep, after a stress filled day, is almost impossible. It messes with our hormones, depleting our natural sleep hormone, melatonin, and doesn’t give our mind or our body a chance to refresh.

Brainwave entrainment can change your state of mind to one that promotes relaxation, even if it is stubbornly stuck in the beta brainwave, the frequency of focus and attention that you use to survive the day. This technology introduces a specific repeated rhythmic pattern to the brain, which the brain mimics, and thus changes its state of consciousness. It’s fast, efficient and totally in your control.

You Might Need a Nap Using Brainwave Entrainment….

If you feel like you’re running out of steam. A thirty minute power nap will boost your stamina better than if you slept in,in the morning.
If you’re all keyed up. You need to relax but you can’t quieten your brain enough to stop thinking. And your thoughts are all over the place. It’s even affecting your digestion, if you know what I mean. A nap is like pushing the refresh button on your computer. It shuts everything down and you come back online, renewed and more focused.
If your level of creativity has stalled. You can’t think of an original thought if your life depended on it…especially if you’re critically sleep deprived. What you need here is some rapid eye movement. Entrainment is very effective at inducing that state of mind. Your creativity level will go up astronomically.
If you know you’re going to be going to bed later than normal. A nap with a specialized brainwave entrainment recording can be equal to four hours of sleep.
If you want to ace your exam. Take a power nap after you’ve finished studying and just before you write. Sleeping solidifies the neural networks you formed while studying and helps you retrieve the information when you need it during the test.
If you need to perform at your best, highest level. Take a nap when you need to be sharp, focused, and on the ball. Take it in your car if you can’t find a place to rest…just lock the doors.

Two Myths About Naps

Napping isn’t a flaw to your character. You’re not lazy. Napping, if it’s not closer than three hours to your bedtime, will not interfere with your night-time sleep.

Power napping is a benefit both physiologically and psychologically.

Using a specialized brainwave entrainment recording, even when you’re asleep is still beneficial. The brain still hears the stimulus and mimics the patterns. You don’t have to be conscious for entrainment to work especially if you’re using it to help you nap short-term or sleep long-term.

Life will definitely give you some stumbling blocks that you might not just have the tools to handle and the pity is, most of us in the human race are operating below capacity and the fault is not ours. The brain that we have been given is actually latent with power and has the potential to do some truly wonderful things and how we know this is a brief look at some of the miracles men and women all over the world are possible of doing.

You too, have the power to do anything you want, literally, if you put your mind to it and this magic is now possible with the entry of technology like brainwave entrainment and how it has become the solution for a better life for thousands of people out there. It works on the assumption that the brain is a malleable entity that can be changed and even charged up using a variety of different stimulants.

The rudimentary applications of this technology was seen in methods like affirmation and even hypnosis to a certain extent, but science has only recently discovered that the brain produces wavelengths based on electro magnetic radiation. This is done because of the billions of neurons that exist in the brain and the pulses that they send out are actually the way the different areas of the brain communicate with each other. It happens in the cortical of the brain that uses these neurons to ‘shape’ the brain to a certain state and we have the ability, using sensitive equipment to read a latent wavelength readout from the brain.

These wavelength states have been divided into 5 different categories, from the low wavelengths to the high ones and each one of them has been associated with a different ‘talent’ that the brain is able to produce almost on demand. For example, if you are at a time just before sleeping, your brainwave read outs will be quite low but your body and brain will be in a state where you are better able to absorb information. This is why students sometimes feel that they can remember the last few things they have learnt the night before a state, because the brain is in a condition where it is optimally reading and storing information.

When you are awake, you of course, enter the higher states and this is important in giving you a high mental focus and more mental agility as you run through the day. When you are sleeping, you are in an accelerated healing process and your body’s growth hormone levels are also being produced at a much higher level

As you can see, there are many benefits when it comes to being able to invoke the brain into a particular state and the best thing about brainwave entrainment is that it is able to do just that with the use of engineered sounds with differing frequencies embedded into an external medium or visual stimulant.

So, do not wait for a problem to come by – smash through them with pure mental power with brainwave entrainment.

Life on the edge of sleep.

That’s how a child with ADD spends most of their time. This is a true description of what a child diagnosed with attention deficit disorder experiences.

Repatterning therapy, brainwave entrainment, stimulates areas of the brain that are functioning at a low capacity, with a targeted frequency that doesn’t cause any bad side effects.

ADD children can’t focus for long on physical reality and return to a state of reflection and dreaming as a default–this is the alpha brainwave state.

This is exhibited by

making careless mistakes.
appearing not to listen.
being disorganized.
forgetting things.
having trouble focusing on a specific task.
speaking and acting out of turn.
not considering consequences before acting.
restlessness.

Emotionally, the child feels

anxiety.
low self-esteem.
frustration.
boredom.
tired because has trouble sleeping soundly.
hopeless.
lost because he has trouble managing time and getting along with others.

There are many different types of treatments available today and it has been noted that a combination of therapies seems to be the way to go.

Biological

medications
diet
vitamin supplements and herbal remedies
repatterning therapies such as brainwave entrainment
rebalancing therapies such as acupuncture
sensory integration therapies
manipulation therapies

Entrainment

Brainwave entrainment uses auditory rhythms to stimulate and influence the nervous system.

Based on the findings of Jeff Strong (1993), our nervous systems are rhythmically organized and can be influenced by externally produced rhythms. Research shows that use of entrainment can have a positive impact on ADD. Entrainment directs the listener’s brain to a desired state of consciousness.

Our brains like novel stimuli that is unrecognizable and this is especially true in ADD making entrainment very effective.

When a person with ADD listens to a specific complex rhythmic pattern, their brain is stimulated in ways that result in immediate improvement in symptoms. Many ADD have lower activity levels in one or more areas of the brain. They stay in alpha wave–a relaxed, day dreamy frequency, most of the time. This brainwave is most profound when they read or listen–explaining why they miss what is being said. They don’t produce many beta waves–the alert, focused brainwave.

Brainwave entrainment, using targeted rhythms and techniques, stimulates those areas of the brain that are deficit, increasing the activity levels, providing a good alternative to medication.

Brain stimulation provides the child with

a calming effect within minutes. (When starting out, a session’s effects will last a few minutes after it is done; after a week, several hours; eventually the effects are permanent).
an increased ability to regulate mood.
improved math skills.
increased language skills.
improved attention span.
less distractibility.
less impulsivity.
less hyperactivity or restlessness.
an improved learning ability

Entrainment for 8 – 10 weeks usually gives the brain time to form new neural pathways or circuits resulting in permanent changes in the brain. Topping off the brain with a session every week or so thereafter, keeps the new circuits running at full capacity.

Brainwave entrainment is an alternative therapy that can help your child with ADD, without the side effects usually produced by medications.

* P.S. Just a little note: chewing peppermint gum will raise beta wave levels quickly–in less than a minute–if your child needs a little focusing on the spur of the moment.
