Brainwave Entrainment Start Controlling Your Brain

Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

Why do so many people have such a tough time with negativity, negative self-talk, and negative thinking? What makes that occur?

The Four Ways All Emotions are Created

There are only four ways all emotions are created, chemical or hormonal change in the body. Everything you put in your body is a chemical, right? Coffee, tea, sugar, water, alcohol, drugs, food, everything you put in you is a chemical and affects you on some level.

Inside of that same aspect is hormones. You have thirty plus hormones in your body that are continually going up and down. They’re fluctuating ongoingly because they get used up, they get old, and they have to be replaced. So chemical or hormonal change in the body is one way emotions are created.

The second way emotions are created is because of damage to the brain. I guarantee if you stand back about 50 feet from a brick wall and you run as fast as you can head first into that wall, it’s going to change how you feel quickly, right? Have a stroke, have an aneurysm, hit your head into the windshield of a car from not having your seatbelt on, bruise the brain and your emotions will rise and fall. That’s the second way, damage to the brain.

The third way emotions are created is because of your self-talk and the pictures you make up inside of your head. Everybody has a voice that talks to them in their head; we all do. It never stops talking from the time you wake up in the morning until you go to sleep at night. That voice is chattering at you. So that voice inside of your head and the pictures that it creates is the third way that emotions are created.

The fourth way emotions are created is because of something happening to your physiology. You’re too hot, you’re too cold, you’re in pain, something has occurred with your body.

Start Managing Your Self Talk

These are the four ways that emotions are created-chemical or hormonal change in the body, damage to the brain itself, your internal dialogue, the voice in your head that talks to you and the picture that it creates, or something happened within or to your physiology. Of the four ways, between 65% to 75% of all emotions are created because of your self-talk and the mental images inside of your mind.

So what are you doing to change and control that self-talk? Self-talk is just a brainwave function. Negativity, negative thinking, positive thinking, positive attitudes are all the result of your thinking processes. 65% to 75% of all emotions are created by what you’re thinking. So when you get a handle on what you’re thinking, it makes a gigantic difference on how you feel. You can rewrite those thinking patterns anytime fast.

Catching Negative Self Talk Is Crucial To Your Success

All you have to do is begin to watch that internal dialogue. When you catch that upset thinking pattern, when it’s getting negative, you have to turn it around. You have to do something about it. You have to make that voice inside of your head go back to the path where you wanted. You’ve got to send it back down the road that works for you because that negative thinking will get in your way and take away from the fun, the pleasure, the excitement, the good stuff in your life. Your success is inhibited by that negativity.

Positive thinking, positive thoughts, positive attitude are all about focusing on what you can do something about. It makes a giant difference. Every single day of positive focus can make a difference in what you do, have and become.

Taking just a couple of minutes to get more control of your thinking patterns can make a huge difference in the effectiveness of your life.

The Best of Success to You, Dr Larry Iverson.
Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

This ‘frequency following’ response of brainwave entrainment can be seen in action with those prone to epilepsy. If a strobe flashes at their seizure frequency, the brain will ‘entrain’ to the flashing light, resulting in a seizure.

On the positive side, this same mechanism is commonly used to induce many brainwave states; such as a trance, enhanced focus, relaxation, meditation or sleep induction. The brainwave entrainment effectively pushes the entire brain into a certain state.

Brainwave entrainment works for almost everyone. It is a great way to lead your mind into states that you might usually have difficulty reaching, allowing you to experience what those states feel like.

THE HYPE
There is a lot of marketing hype around brainwave entrainment. It is sold with promises of increasing IQ, promoting weight loss, ‘mind-tripping’, enhancing creativity, concentration, inducing spiritual states and more.

While these claims are not entirely true, they are not altogether false either. In practice, the claims are based on an overly-simplistic view of how the brain and the brainwaves function.
THE RUB
People are very seldom deficient in a certain brainwave type in all areas of their brain. Usually the distribution is much spottier, with an excess in one area and a deficiency in another.

We are all different, especially when it comes to the distribution of our brainwaves. Boosting a certain brainwave state may be beneficial for one person, and emotionally uncomfortable for another. Without knowing each person’s starting position, entrainment can be rather ‘hit and miss’.

If brainwave entrainment leaves you with unwanted side-effects (see below) or discomfort, you’re probably encouraging a range of brainwaves that are already excessive in some area of your brain. The way around this is to get a brain map to see what your brain’s strengths and weaknesses are, and see what (if any) brainwaves could use some encouragement.

Who would have thought that the remedy for a healthier life, mind, body and soul could be the simple use of sound? We all know that music can change our moods and lift our spirits, but do you know that music and engineered sound of different frequencies can actually unlock the subconscious and enable us to release the power of our minds to do good to our lives? For most people in the turbulent world, the subconscious is suffering from diseased perceptions and bad news syndrome – all affecting how it controls our emotions. Brainwave entrainment, the technology behind this sound healing for your subconscious, is the good doctor we all need.

How it works is actually quite simple. Some people in a sound lab discovered that the brain has different states, from alpha to theta. These mark the sort of brainwave frequencies that the brain releases during different states of our waking and sleeping life. For example, the deep sleeping human is often in alpha state, a state known for unlocking tremendous learning capabilities. This is why studies of late have proven that studying just before you sleep helps in the learning and factual retention process.

Amazed? Don’t be. Other states can help in unlocking intelligence, creativity, and even a state of euphoria. The applications are endless. How do we unlock these states? We invoke them through the use of sound. These electromagnetic brain waves can be excited when binaural beats are brought to bear. The technology works by threading these binaural beats into a CD that contains some relaxing music or music engineered to soothe the mind. These beats (which are beyond human hearing range) are introduced at different frequencies in both the right and left ear. What happens when the brain picks up these signals is a cortical response when these beats collide within the super olivary nuclei.

Ok, I am getting a bit too scientific here. The idea is that these beats create a brainwave entrainment – meaning it can evoke specific brainwave frequencies for different applications. Scientists call this consciousness management technique. So if you want to relax, meditate, reduce stress, get rid of an ailing pain, learn better, be happier, have a better outlook in life – you can use this sound technology to mimic brain states where all this can happen.

The science behind this, although developed, by current scientific standards it has not even reached the tip of our cerebrum, so to speak. More than 70% of the brain is still unlocked and research is still being carried out in these unfamiliar terrains. Who knows, in the future, we may be able to do things only Hollywood can dream of. But until then, this technology is here, it is now, and it can do nothing but help improve your life.

Find a quiet corner, sit back and put on the CD that has the binaural beats cleverly weaved into its audio structure. You will be amazed at the results and your life will be changed, simply by sound healing.

Who owns your brain? You do, and since you do, why not format it in such a way that it works best for you? Makes sense doesn’t it? Not long ago, an acquaintance asked me why I chose to format my brain, and in giving him an answer, I thought I’d share it with you also, in case you’d like to do the same and reformat your own brain. Let’s talk.

First you ask; Is this even possible?

Yes, it is possible to reformat your brain and since you own your own brain and thoughts, at least in the present period perhaps not so much in the future – Arthur C. Clarke “3001” Science Fiction novel – you should optimize your brain to think in the way you’d like to use it, or multiple ways and alternate as appropriate – there are many types of thinking, reasoning, and thought processes – many ways to store and retrieve information.

It’s not a matter of thinking inside the box, or around the box, but both and “What If” the box is removed? A person can categorize everything if they wish, but may not then be able to combine information outside the category for which they are observing or thinking in, this does not mean the human brain is not well-served with a “filing system” it certainly can be, but also realize that “everything is related to everything else” merely because it is part of the observable human endeavor, but things outside that observed still exist and we know that because we are continually observing new things and adding to our memory (faithful servant – cite: Einstein), so we know things exist outside our experiences and current observations, and curiosity should be rewarded with a splash of pleasurable brain chemicals when we find something contrary to what we’d have expected.

This isn’t hard, the N400 brainwave allows for this tickling of new ironic information and will allow us the “ah ha” moment triggering a hard imprintation. Rejoice in the novelty of hypocrisy, irony, semantic break, humor, and out of place events contrary to expected patterns, this helps narrow down one’s probability when judging and interpreting. Just as we should celebrate diversity, yet never force it. Look and search out the unique and nuance as there are hidden clues everywhere, components needed for combination and creativity in problem solving. I can teach an AI machine to be creative, it’s not that hard once you become one with creativity. You can too. Think on this.

Who else wants to become more psychic? Does the idea of astral projection appeal to you? How about having your first out of body experience, or even developing the ability to MOVE items with your mind! (don’t laugh… PK is a well known ability that many special people develop and I’m NOT talking about in the movies.)

I’ve been practicing some amazing psychic exercises over the last 8 months or so, and if I told you the sorts of experiences I’ve been able to have, the simple truth is that you wouldn’t believe me! So rather than try to convince you of MY abilities, I’m going to share with you the very simple technique i used to become FAR more psychic, much more spiritually aware, and FAR more excited, enthusiastic and joyful about my life as a result.

So what is the secret to boosting psychic powers LITERALLY overnight?

Sculpt your brainwaves! Use special sound technology to entrain your brain. If you can learn to control, refine and re-define how your brain works with “exercise,” you will literally PUSH the boundaries of what you now believe is possible in ways you simply can’t yet comprehend.

Meditation is the first step. But using brain entrainment music, or sound technology is a PROVEN way to explosively expand your consciousness in ways that will permanently shift the way you see the world. Science is increasingly PROVING that the brain is “elastic” and can be stretched and developed with stimulation. Combining meditation, with binural beats and hemi sync sounds is literally a way to open your mind to the infinite, and explore worlds and dimensions that you simply do NOT have access to in ordinary states of consciousness. (and completely SAFELY to boot!)

Whilst there are hundreds of books, therapies, drugs, herbal remedies, self help courses and specialist activities available for reducing stress, there are still only two ways to have less stress in your life. Firstly remove the cause of the stress. Secondly, find ways to reduce its impact. Put like that it sounds so simple and easy, but the reality is that when you are stuck in the middle of the wood, it’s hard to see the trees.

As in many things, it’s often the natural simple things that can have the most beneficial effect so don’t be fooled by the ‘low tech, back to basis’ style of these suggestions. They are all based on our senses, the five ways that we directly experience life. And most of the suggestions below are free and don’t involve chemicals!

Stimulate the five senses.

Smell – Lavender oil has long been known for its ability to relieve tension and ease stress. Put a few drops on your pillow at night or by day consider keeping a tissue nearby that has been laced with its distinctive aroma.

Taste – Stress strips the body of vital vitamins, especially B and C. And if you rely on high caffeine intake to cope, this also depletes your supplies of vitamin C. So have something good to eat. I will make you feel better and help to replace those lost vitamins. Complex carbohydrates will induce the release of serotonin making you feel calm.

Sight – A daily ‘nature hit’ is essential to our wellbeing. 1980’s study showed that patients recovering from operations recovered more quickly when their view was of nature, plants and trees rather than more urban features such as roads, walls and buildings. So to reduce stress, why not take time out to surround yourself with nature?

Hearing – Meditating by focussing on a single sound can alter brainwave patterns to alpha which are naturally relaxing. Alternatively if you don’t want to spend months learning how to meditate then listen to a binaural beat recording instead. A binaural beat of 4.9hz will produce exactly the same calming alpha state.

Feeling – One symptom of stress is quick and shallow breathing. This starves the body of fresh oxygen, so breathe from the stomach rather than the chest – this also helps to expel stale air that can accumulate in the lower lungs. Breathe slowly and deeply and concentrate on making the out breath longer than the in breath, this naturally reduces stress.

The important thing is that whatever you do, do something. For example you could take a deep breath right now, hold it and exhale slowly… Trust your instincts and rely on your five senses to lead you out of that stressful wood.

Brainwave Entrainment What Is Biofeedback?

While you could argue that the history of biofeedback dates to the mid-1800s, biofeedback and its effects were not really studied until more than a hundred years later. By the 1970s, biofeedback had garnered an impressive following, especially in psychology and psychological research. Today, biofeedback is considered a process by which subjects can gain greater awareness and even control of a wide range of physiological functions. Through the use of biofeedback machines, individuals gain important information about the activity of various systems so that they can ultimately learn to manipulate said systems voluntarily. In current practice, biofeedback is used to improve both physical and emotional health through greater understanding of physiological processes and the thoughts, emotions, and behaviours with which these processes are associated.

In the simplest terms, there are 3 components to biofeedback. First, the ultimate purpose of biofeedback is to allow individuals to learn how to change physiological activity so that they can improve health and performance. In order to learn how to manipulate physiological activity, individuals rely on precise instruments that measure things like brainwaves, heart function, breathing, muscle activity, and skin temperature to provide rapid and accurate feedback information. Finally, once the individual is presented with this information, s/he can draw conclusions about changes in thinking, emotions, and behaviour that coincide with physiological changes so that over time the individual can make physiological changes without the continued need to use these instruments.

Examples of Biofeedback Machines

There are a wide range of devices used to provide biofeedback. The electromyography (EMG), feedback thermometers, the electrodermograph (EDG), the electroencephalograph (EEG), and the electrocardiograph (ECG) are just a few examples of devices that may be used to provide biofeedback.

EMG machines detect muscle activity in skeletal muscles that are responsible for initiating muscle contraction. EMG biofeedback has been found to be useful in treating anxiety, chronic pain, hypertension, headache, and low back pain.

Feedback Thermometers detect skin temperature as a reflection of arteriole diameter. As hand cooling and hand warming are processes controlled by separate mechanisms, regulation requires different skills. Feedback thermometers and temperature biofeedback are often used to treat chronic pain, stress, and edema.

EDG machines directly measure electrical activity in the skin through electrodes placed over the fingers, hand, or wrist. EDG biofeedback is also useful for anxiety as well as hyperhidrosis and stress.

EEGs measure brain activity through sensors placed on the scalp over the human cortex. EEGs record both excitatory and inhibitory responses and can therefore yield a great deal of information. EEGs are used in biofeedback treatment of addiction, learning disabilities, depression, and generalized seizures.

Finally, ECG machines require that electrodes are placed on the torso, wrists, or legs to measure heart activity; they have been used clinically as biofeedback treatments for asthma, COPD, fibromyalgia, and even heart disease.

Biofeedback is a rapidly growing field of practice and research that can be applied to a great deal of physical and emotional conditions. As the field becomes more popular, biofeedback machines are more available and affordable than ever before; and many experts view biofeedback as an exciting field with many implications for future medical treatments.

Brainwave Entrainment Hypnosis Versus Brainwave Entrainment – Which Has Been Scientifically Proven?

Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

While well documented, the issue with traditional hypnosis is that often comes into a mind field of speculation as a proven process to change the mind and promote healing. Many critics of hypnosis call it a sham at worst and that hypnotists have not had a great success in the past few years. It has never been placed under the purview of science and many have called it a lore at best. The power of suggestion has always been a contentious issue; and the placing the subconscious mind in the hand of another is a subject that has been argued back and forth.

Let me simplify this for you, the entire reason behind hypnosis is that it breaks the barrier that the conscious mind has placed and lets the hypnosis speak directly to the subconscious. Instructions and motivational word are placed within this intangible area of the mind and thus we are reprogrammed.

The logic is similar under brainwave entrainment, but what is different about this is that this is technology, the use of engineered and sculpted sounds or magnetic fields to invoke the cortical of the cerebrum into a specific electromagnetic pattern. Hypnotism just aims for a single pattern – which is not measurable and thus hopes for the best. Results have been sketchy at best and no known testimonials exist on its power to truly change someone’s personality or to empower someone to be better.

While I am no expert on hypnosis, the fact of the matter is that brainwave entrainment invokes specific electromagnetic measurable patterns that are associated with different strengths. For those still in the dark, the brain fires neurons and sends out electronic impulses all the time, and machines are able to measure the frequency in hertz of the pattern that is being produced.

Different states of awareness and sleep produce certain different patterns and their applications have been proven. Depending on the frequency of the brain, states of super learning, mental agility, creativity and even utmost peace of mind can be achieved. The problem is we can’t place ourselves into a meditative state at will and call upon these frequencies – very few people in the world can actually do this. If you need to be a super learner, all you need is to invoke the specific pattern (one associated with a state of sleep-wakefulness). There is absolutely no danger here as all you are doing asking your brain to do something that it does naturally.

These facts have been scientifically proven. Science and medicine have been investigating into the power of brainwave entrainment for the past few decades and its applications especially in healing have been amazing. Brainwave entrainment is the new ‘IT’ thing in the business of personal development and the reason it is so popular is because it has been proven to work. The mind is a powerful thing and once you find out how to control it, can you take on the world.

So what are you waiting for? Change your life today with brainwave entrainment.

Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

While we are still unclear about the exact role of sleep, scientific research has revealed more about the form it takes. Sleep has two main states – REM (Rapid Eye Movement) and non-REM.

Within the non-REM stage there are four distinct stages. The first stage is very short, lasting about 10 minutes. It allows the muscles to relax and the brainwave patterns begin to slow down. During this stage you are very easy to wake, and as it begins, you may have that sensation of ‘nodding off’, with little rouses into consciousness.

To an observer stage two looks very much like stage one, however an EEG (a graph called an electroencephalogram that depicts the pattern of brain waves produced by the brain) shows that there is a change in the type of brain waves being produced. A single wave, called K complexes, is followed by sleep spindle (named after the spindle shape it makes on the EEG screen). It would take a louder noise or firmer prod to rouse you from this stage, but you are still considered to be in the ‘entering’ stage of sleep.

About 10-15 minutes after the onset of stage two, you enter stage three. The brain waves are now slow and make rolling shapes on the EEG screen, indicating a very deep sleep. Your heart rate and blood pressure fall, your breathing is slow and regular, and you will need a ringing phone, shouting or shaking to bring you back to the waking world, which would find you groggy and disorientated and probably not very happy (which is how you would also feel if woken up during stage four). This is followed by the last stage of non-REM sleep, which is even deeper. Your muscles are now totally relaxed and you are difficult to wake up – an onlooker might use the phrase ‘dead to the world’. It is during these deep stages that our body carries out its repair work, fights any illness or damage and, in men releases the growth hormone. This is the sleep that truly refreshes us. As the night wears on, the deep stages of sleep become shorter and the REM stages lengthen.

These four non-REM stages described above take you approximately one hour into your first sleep cycle. You will then re-emerge towards consciousness and experience a brief awakening that you won’t remember; this is often when you turn over or grab back some of the sheets. After this you start REM sleep, where high-frequency waves begin to appear on the EEG screen. Your brain has now started to create some alpha and beta waves, which are similar to the ones produced when we are awake. You are probably dreaming and your eyeballs are moving under their lids, which is what gives REM sleep its name (you can also dream in non-REM sleep, but these dreams tend to be simple and short). Although dreams seem very real and physically active, your body won’t act out your dreams as your muscles are paralyzed in this stage and you remain motionless (some scientists believe that this is the body’s way of preventing you from harming yourself). Sleepwalking is likely to happen in the non-REM part of your sleep, which isn’t accompanied by paralysis.

Brainwave Entrainment What Are the Different Types of Brain Waves?

While there is a lot of literature about how many brainwaves there are, we can conclude that there are four main types that we can talk about today, and this is with the exclusion of the SMR waves that are there almost all the time. So let us talk about the Beta waves and they are mostly active when we are in the conscious state of mind. This is when we are awake and active, and it has a cycle rating of above 12. In this state, the mind does not allow itself to be influenced really very easily and because of that suggestion and association are really not the best things to be introducing to the brain at this point. This is because all the defences of the brain are up and at full tilt, and this include things like reasoning, thinking, critical thought processes and logic.

There is a lot of energy in the mind in the Beta wavelengths, and there would be plenty of focus and mental acuity when compared to the other wavelengths as well. Going towards the alpha wavelengths, we are in the position when we are just about to sleep, or perhaps even during sleep. The cycle rating or the wavelengths here will be well below 12, and sometimes right at 7. Here, the body and mind is very relaxed, and the subconscious mind is really aware. You will be at an almost trance like state when you are here and you may experience sensitiveness to things like loud sounds and such other more volumising stimulations. In the alpha state, one is unfastened to submission as the cognisant rational mind is passive.

The cognisant resistance barricade is down. Hypnosis takes position on this point. When in the alpha state, we can program our own mind. The deeper you set off into alpha, the more rapidly you get to theta. We can control others when they are slumbering or in the alpha condition. Discussing with someone who is dead to the world will perform to program his or her mind. This can be completed, even at remoteness with strong attentiveness, see in your mind’s eye the person, and directing opinion into his cranium. This may have to be frequented quite a few times. The power of your mind and sensation will decide your success.

Make sure the opinion you situate in the mind are instructions, as in effective somebody a little something you desire them to do for you. Be tranquil, but definite and unrelenting. It might take a whilst, depending on the power of your intelligence, but in time, results will be apparent. Theta and Delta round of the lowest of the wavelengths and they can be associated with things like higher levels of growth hormones and higher rate of healing. As you can see, each of the brainwaves have a different positive that you can capitalize on and with the appropriate technology, you will be on your way to something better.

While there has been plenty of technical analysis behind the technology that is brainwave entrainment, there has not been sufficient literature to point out exactly why it can be anyone’s key to success. While it is good to continually educate a growing population of internet readers, it is also good to continually remind them about the excellent benefits of this technology and the fact that anyone and everyone has the power in their hands to reach out and grab a piece of this self-evolution.

This article was also written because of the simple fact that there are still people out there that have no clue about brainwave entrainment and its accompanying benefits. What is this technology that has been gaining so much popularity over the past few years? Brainwave entrainment is using sculpted and engineered audio signals embedded in music tracks for the express purpose of invoking a cortical response, often called a frequency following response in the brain.

When this happens, according to the variations of the frequencies introduced into both ears, the brain will then fire its neurons to match the frequency and thus place the brain within a specific wavelength state. The reason this happens is because it has been found that the brain operates in different wavelengths that determine, in turn, to how optimally the brain operates. For example, plenty of us are walking around the high beta state ranges, which have been associated with an extreme amount of clarity and mental focus.

This is because we are awake and have the necessary tools we need to operate in the day. The mind is constantly active processing gigabytes of information and our levels of concentration are really very high. The direct opposite is of course the delta waves, with are normally associated with deep sleep – which has in fact been associated with tenets like advanced healing and the greater release of growth hormones. It has been said that those in this state are in the basic life giving state of the body, where cells are replaced, renewed and the bodies immune level is very very high. So, with the technology of brainwave entrainment, you do not need to be asleep to gain the benefits of delta level brainwaves.

Brainwave is the fast track that you need to be a success because in the big picture of things, the brain operates in more than 5 levels of wavelengths, each with their own supporting super functions. You can be more creative, more alert, absorb more information and learn new languages all the more easier at any time you need.

All you need to do is to expose yourself to the sculpted engineered audio frequencies for a span of time and soon you will have those abilities at hand. For this very reason that you have limitless potential and the key to unlock it whenever you want, brainwave entrainment is truly your key to success and the success of everyone else in the world. The internet has made this technology truly accessible to the masses, so there is no reason why you shouldn’t take advantage of brainwave entrainment today.
